Up the Ante

Quentin slides into the ring to check on Cliff, who has been knocked out by Savior's move. Savior is standing in a corner of the ring, not really doing anything.

Andrew: And with that, Quentin's revolution comes to screeching halt...again.

John: I'll be honest, that was pretty close. It almost looked like Cliff was going to come back after falling behind early but Savior put him down--

"Quite Bitter Beings" by CKY starts to play over the arena.

Michael: Oh no...why are they here?

Nic Nitro, Bryan Ford, Hurricane Earl Lockyer and Titus Alexus Muttley all appear at the top of the entrance ramp. They slowly make their way to the ring. Quentin, more concerned with Cliff hasn't noticed them while Savior shows no reaction.

Andrew: This is going to get ugly...

John: Hm...but for who? Quentin and Cliff? Savior? All three?

The Renegades start to surround the ring; Nic staying on the side nearer the entrance ramp, Titus and Earl going left with Titus stopping at the left side of the ring and Earl continuing til he gets to the side opposite the entrance ramp, and Bryan Ford going to cover the right side. Quentin, having his back to the ramp, notices Earl first and looks up, and sees he's surrounded. He tries to wake Cliff up, to no avail. He looks up at Savior with a pleading look in his eyes. Savior finally leaves the corner, approaches Quentin...and picks him up by the scruff of his shirt with a smile on his face.

John: That answers that question. It was nice knowing Quentin...well, not really--

Dream On starts playing

Andrew: Don't start rehearsing for Quentin's funeral just yet, here comes the backup!

Led by Auron, Gerry, Diryn, Buck the Trend and Lo.Key come from backstage and charge the ring. Oddly, Rehaustykus is nowhere to be seen.Auron shoves Nic Nitro aside and slides into the ring, heading straight for Savior. Savior puts Quentin down and engages into a full blown fist fight with Auron. Nic Nitro, still unbalanced, gets quickly gets taken down by Gerry. Buck and Lo.Key split up to take on Titus and Bryan, respectively, while Diryn slips by and attacks Earl. With nowhere to go, Quentin pulls Cliff to a corner and tries to stay out of the way, while still attempting to wake Cliff up.

Michael: This has broken down into pure chaos!

Nic Nitro recovers and engages Gerry, while Buck fights Titus, Lo.Key fights Bryan and Diryn fights Earl. There is no technical skills in any of the fights, just fists flying. In the ring, Auron is holding his own against Savior...but it seems like he's slowing down.

Andrew: Uh oh...

John: I guess all that time behind a desk isn't doing Auron any favors...

Michael: ...Hm?

Auron starts taking some punches and is pushed back up against the ropes, where Nic and Gerry are still fighting. In the corner, Quentin is still trying to awake Cliff...and Cliff stirs. Cliff opens his eyes and looks around, confused.

Michael: It appears that the Cliff is awake...but what now?

Cliff sits up and shakes his head, trying to clear it. He looks at Quentin, who tells him something that can't be heard, and points at Savior. Savior, having his back turned to them, doesn't notice...but Auron does. Auron, while fending off Savior, slightly nods his head at Quentin and Cliff, who nod back. Cliff stands up and positions himself behind Savior. Savior, still not noticing, backs up and charges at Auron, intending to clothesline him over the top. Auron ducks and jukes around Savior. Savior stops himself from going over and quickly turns around to see...

Auron and Cliff Roxtone both charge Enigmatic Savior
and hit him with their huge clotheslines executing an Ultimate Twin Slicers!!

Auron and Cliff clothesline Savior over the top...and Savior ends up landing on Nic Nitro. Gerry, seeing an opportunity, breaks away from his fight and goes to help Diryn. Auron and Cliff go to help Buck and Lo.Key...but Titus, Bford, and Earl all noticed that they were now outnumbered and quickly break away from their fights and retreat. They slip by everyone, help Nic and Savior, and they all quickly retreat up the ramp. Gerry, Diryn, Lo.Key and Buck all start to give chase but Auron calls them off. Auron asks for a mic. As he gets one, Gerry/Diryn/Lo.Key/Buck enter the ring. Quentin slides out and signals Cliff. They silently leave through the crowd.

Auron: Well...that was fun...Still, this reveals that the Renegade group runs a bit deeper than I thought...

Michael: That's true...Savior wasn't introduced as a Renegade...and there's still Eric Jones' music from earlier...

Auron: It looks like I have to up the ante a bit...

Andrew: What's he mean by that?

Auron: I'm going to extend the conditions from earlier for Eric Jones and Engimatic Savior...with a twist. The 4 versus 4 is no longer the only part of this. Diryn's match against Eric for the Primetime Title and Enigmatic Savior's match against StreXx are now part of this, in a best of 3 deal. Whichever side wins two of the matches gets their reward...or punishment....and it's amongst everyone, not who wins or loses!

John: Well then....that happened...

Andrew: Man, did Auron just up the ante!

Michael: Was it the smart thing to do though...either the Renegades get put down...or Auron is going to be granting a whole lot of requests!

Andrew: Guess we'll have to wait to find out...Next week, at Cold Encounter! Good Night everybody!

The camera slowly fades to black, switching between the Guardian Unit and the Renegades.
